Sylvia grew up and was educated in Wagga Wagga. She trained at Wagga Wagga Teachers College, and then taught in several country towns before being assigned to Lockhart Central School. Her husband runs a local business and they have 4 grown sons. She has a family heritage in this area where her father began a business in the 1960’s.
Sylvia has been a Councillor on Lockhart Shire Council, so she is confident she can represent the wider community by standing as the CDP candidate for Wagga Wagga electorate, and asks for your No 1 vote in the next elections.
Sylvia points out that if you vote for her, but she is not elected, your vote is not lost because Australia’s preferential voting system allows your No2 vote to flow to another Party as your No1 vote.
