If elected, Julian will fight to:-

• Step up the maintenance of the main arterial roads, especially the high traffic Nelson Bay Rd,
• Up-grade the inadequate Tourie Bridge to Kooragang Island,
• Provide access to Newcastle airport by a rail link,
• Lower carbon pollution by use of alternative sources of energy production,
• Give strong moral & ethical foundations to our young people by retaining SRE classes in our public schools.

Profile

Julian has lived and worked in the Newcastle area for 17 years.  He has a diploma in business managament and has worked in many professions.
Julian has a passion for children at risk and disenfranchised youth, and this has been displayed in many areas of commitment and employment over the years.  He is concerned about the failure to teach our children clear boundaries and guidelines, and longs to see a return to foundational family values of respect and orderly conduct in our communities.
Both Julian and his wife have a passion for Jesus Christ and a genuine love for people, and Julian wishes to advocate on behalf of the people of Port Stephens so that their concerns and needs are met and that the charm and prosperity of this beautiful area is cared for and enhanced.
