Peter Magee
Your CDP candidate for Parramatta.

If elected, Peter will fight to:-

• Review working conditions for doctors, nurses, police and ambulance officers,
• Promote local hospital boards,
• Address crime and anti-social behaviour,
• Protect and support small business,
• Ensure that minority groups are accorded due respect, but not at the expense of the majority,
• Promote earlier closure of alcohol trade venues.

Profile

Peter attended school in Parramatta, has been married to Susan for 24 years and they have a son in his last year of high school.

For over 10 years Peter has worked as an RN at Westmead hospital and part time in drug and alcohol rehabilitation with the Salvation Army. Earlier Peter worked in sales and commerce and understands the difficulties faced by small business.

Peter has given much of his time to assisting troubled young men in his community and also spent 12 years in the Philippines pioneering a program to feed children living in the city rubbish dump.

Currently Peter is a part time Pastor in a local church. He highly values integrity, stewardship, accountability and compassion.
