• Righteousness and truth in government,
• The promotion of the Australian Constitution
• The teaching of Scripture classes in our schools
• The retaining of the meaning of marriage according to the law in Australia as “the union of a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life”.

John is married to Jan and they have four grown children and seven grandchildren.  John taught for 12 years at Goodwood High School in Adelaide, before starting a part time bicycle shop business at Yankalilla.

In 1996 the family moved from Adelaide to Crescent Head and started Crescent Head Cycles, which John and Jan still run.

John and Jan are active members of Grace Church Port Macquarie,  and are involved in outreach, including School Scripture teaching and evangelism in the local community. They have facilitated the running of Kempsey Recreational Cyclists, linking cyclist to cyclist, the community and the majestic Macleay Valley, ( and also to Jesus).
