Profile

Lindsay Johnson was born in Sydney. He is married to Jan and they have six children and seven grandchildren, with two more due soon.

Lindsay is a retired surgeon, with much of his work performed in public hospitals. Being from a poor background himself Lindsay knows firsthand the pangs of poverty, and in earlier years a lot of his work was performed on an honorary basis for the poorer sections of the community.

Lindsay believes very strongly that the family unit is the backbone of the nation and therefore he will endorse measures and legislation that support the needs of families.
