Born in Papua New Guinea of Australian parents, he is a husband & father of four grown children and a grandfather. Bernie has a strong sense of “family”, and understands the challenges parents face.
He has worked in the IT industry for almost 20 years, owned and operated a small business employing staff, and more recently worked as a Storeman and Forklift driver. Currently he is working as the NSW State Coordinator for CDP.
He is an active member of a Blacktown Church and is dedicated to ensuring that the Christian values on which our Nation’s Constitution is built continue to be upheld in our community!
Bernie will promote programs to harness the potential of Blacktown youth, particularly the jobless. There are many challenges to our way of life and to the values that the people of Blacktown hold dearly. Bernie is committed to listen and to act on behalf of the people of Blacktown.
