For nearly 40 years, Zarif and his wife have lived in the South-Western suburbs of Sydney. During this time, they raised two sons and two daughters.
Zarif has worked as an analytical chemist for the NSW Dept of Health; and before that, he worked as a geologist in regional Australia.
He is currently a volunteer with the State Emergeny Services (SES), and has extensive experience in dealing with people from different organisations and cultures.
Through working with the Christian Democratic Party, he aspires to revive and support the many sacrosanct family values that seem to be inadvertently diminishing in our community.
