MEDIA RELEASE

Blasphemous Homosexual Mardi Gras Parade

Thursday, 5th March 2009

The Rev Fred Nile, Leader of the Christian Democratic Party and prominent pro family, pro marriage campaigner, has condemned the 2009 blasphemous attacks on the Christian Church and dedicated Catholic Sisters.

“I am amazed that the organisers of the 2009 homosexual Mardi Gras Parade on the 7th March, 2009, would give such prominence to a group of perverts, who dress as Catholic Sisters, particularly as Catholic Sisters have dedicated their lives to care for dying homosexual AIDS sufferers” said Rev Fred Nile MLC.

“It is also disgusting and extremely bad taste to ridicule HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, which is an insult to the Danish nation. We need the Thailand Royal law in Australia and the law against blasphemy!

“Some misguided people supported the legalisation of homosexuality as long as they kept to the privacy of the bedroom, never realising it would be flaunted by near naked homosexual men on the public streets of Sydney.

“We need to pray for cleansing rain on Mardi Gras night and a boycott on the Mardi Gras” said Rev Fred Nile MLC.
