When the members of the NSW Parliament return to sit in their respective Houses on Tuesday this week, Christian Democratic Party Leader Reverend Fred Nile will move in the Legislative Council a Bill for a Parliamentary Inquiry into the management, administration and standard of patient care at Royal North Shore Hospital.
Reverend Nile said "I propose that the Inquiry should take evidence on a wide range of matters including the operation of the casualty/emergency department, staff morale, the effect of management decisions being made on the Central Coast, the practice of placing female and male patients in the same room, and the desirability or otherwise of the reintroduction of a hospital board."
Pastor Paul Green, who holds a degree in nursing and is the leader of the Christian Democratic Party Senate team for NSW, has called on the NSW Government, Opposition and minor parties to support Reverend Nile's Bill.
