The Christian Democratic Party has endorsed Shoalhaven City Councillor Pastor Paul Green to lead its NSW team of candidates for the Senate.
“My heart has always been in three places, my God, my family and my community,” said father-of-six Pastor Paul Green.
“Our nation is predominantly Christian, and some politicians in the major parties stray from the core fundamentals that our community expects,” said Paul Green. “Like all Australians, I always wanted the best for my family. I want to ensure stability in their future so that our nation can continue to grow and prosper.”
Paul Green, who holds a science degree in nursing, runs a photography business with his wife Michelle. Paul has been ministering at Mannahouse Ministries in Nowra, NSW and now has answered a calling to serve in politics.
“Each day I gain more understanding of the difficulties faced by families and individuals,” said Paul Green. “As a Christian Democratic Party Senator I will contribute to handling national problems including education, health, regional development, radical Islam, immigration, water, climate change and Work Place Reform. Federal Parliament is a place of great ideas and vision, where the Christian viewpoint deserved effective expression.”
Christian Democratic Party Leader Reverend Fred Nile, the longest-serving member of the NSW Legislative Council, said “Paul Green is an excellent choice as the CDP team leader, and he will make a very significant contribution as a Senator. May God have the victory!”
