Fred Nile Congratulates Minister For Roads

Reverend Fred Nile, Chairman of the Lane Cove Tunnel Inquiry, has congratulated the Minister for Roads, Hon Eric Roozendaal, for adopting his recommendation to avoid congestion on the Epping Road.

“As Chairman of the Inquiry I recommended that the narrowing of Epping Road, from 3 lanes to one general traffic lane, be delayed until the Lane Cove Tunnel had taken the majority of vehicles off Epping Road. It was my idea not the Government’s!” said Rev Fred Nile.

“The Greens strongly supported the road narrowing and, with the ALP and Liberal Members, rejected my recommendation.

“The Greens, as the anti motorist Party, have tried to use these projects for political reasons” said Rev Fred Nile MLC.
