Ex-Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Addresses Christian Forum
The Rev Hon Fred Nile MLC, Member of the NSW Parliament wishes to thank all who attended this important Christian Community Forum at this critical time in our nation’s history. The Forum was held on Saturday 2nd September 2006 at Eastwood Baptist Church.
Dr Shayesteh is an Iranian immigrant who arrived in Australia with his family and is now a National Evangelist with the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Australia. He shared his testimony of how he became a Christian and spoke on the subject “Unveiling the Nature of Islam”.
Other speakers at the forum included;
Dr Michael Chavura, Baptist Minister and history teacher at William Carey Christian School, Prestons – speaking on “What does Jerusalem have to do with Canberra? – The Separation of church and State in Australia – Myth or Reality?”
Dr Leslie Kememy, founding member of the International Nuclear Energy Academy and consulting Nuclear Engineer and Physicist – speaking on the current danger to world peace – “Iran and the Nuclear Threat”.
