Nile Says Stop White Slaves In NSW

The Rev Fred Nile MLC, Leader of the Christian Democratic Party said he was shocked over the four Thai women kept as ‘white slaves’ in a Sydney brothel at Canley Heights.

‘I am pleased that the two brothel owners have been charged with 32 counts of holding these four Thai women as prostitutes, against their will’ said Rev Fred Nile.

‘Unfortunately because the NSW ALP Government, with the support of the Liberal Party legalised brothels, pimping, they cannot be charged with these offences.

‘My previous attempts to retain these offences were defeated by the major parties, the Greens and Australian Democrats.

‘It is a disgrace that we have no NSW laws against brothels or pimping – living off the earnings of a prostitute, or even soliciting as a prostitute in William Street, Sydney.

‘This latest case proves the necessity for these laws if we hope to control prostitution in NSW or will we leave it to organised crime?’ said Rev Nile.
