Reverend Fred Nile Congratulates The Prime Minister And New South Wales’ Premier On The Cancelled Sale Of Snowy Hydro Scheme
The Reverend Fred Nile MLC, National President of the Christian Democratic Party, has congratulated Prime Minister John Howard and NSW Premier Morris Iemma on their decisions to cancel the sale of the Snowy Hydro Scheme.
‘The Snowy Hydro Scheme is a national icon and must stay in the hands of the Australian people.
‘The Federal Government should take over the ownership of the Snowy Mountains Scheme in order to avoid future conflict between Federal and State Governments over its future development’ said Rev Fred Nile MLC.
