1. 2010 Federal Election - Critical Crossroad
 On Saturday 21 August 2010 every Australian voter will make a critical decision concerning the future of our Australian nation. The choice they make will affect every family, every child, every church and every Christian for years to come.
The day has come when Christians cannot hide behind the weak excuse, "I do not believe Christians should be involved in politics
This excuse has been the devil's most successful, deceptive lie, as he rubs his hands and says, "Now I can put my people into the Government of Australia!"
God's Word, the Holy Bible, states that the government is the "Minister of God" (Romans 13:4,6). If that is true, how can Christians elect atheists to rule our Australian nation? Politicians who reject God's authority, guidance and direction?
2. Atheistic Prime Minister Julia Gillard
Australia has for the first time an unelected Prime Minister who boasts she is an atheist. One with various immoral relationships, even with a married man which has broken up his marriage.
Julia Gillard's record has been listed by Bill Muehlenberg in our July "Family World News" pg7. (Click here)
It includes her role in founding "Emily's List" ('Early Money Is Like Yeast', a funding organisation) to ensure Australian Labour Party (ALP) female candidates are pro full-term abortion, pro-homosexual, etc.
As a lifelong socialist, she has also supported the Fabian Society and has adopted their strategy of social engineering by "gradualism" - gradual, radical, immoral social change.
The influential Fabian Society members in the ALP seek to:

Make Australia a socialist republic with no acknowledgement of Almighty God
She has ruthlessly sought Kevin Rudd's Prime Minister's position since 2007 when she led the ALP left-wing to reluctantly support Kevin Rudd as Prime Minister as a means to her political ambition - which she has achieved, eg a ruthless, political coup to remove Kevin Rudd.
Remember, the symbol of the Fabian Society is a wolf in sheep's clothing, as depicted in the stained-glass window in their UK headquarters when the society was formed .
 If she is elected as Prime Minister, we need to remember that a leopard can never change its spots. Will the wolf then, after election, reveal its fangs as a committed left-wing socialist? Julia Gillard, former organiser of the Socialist Forum which was funded by a branch of the Communist Party, when she was an active student leader.

3. Julia Gillard Winning the Christian Vote?
There is now clear evidence that there is a sizeable Christian vote in Australia. In 2007, Kevin Rudd did all he could to attract that vote and succeeded , so he became Prime Minister, much to John Howard's disappointment.
 Now Julia Gillard wants to win the Christian vote, despite of her professed atheism and her role in 'Emily's List' and the Fabians, etc.
I have been amazed and very disappointed at her sympathetic treatment by important Christian organisations such as the Australian Christian Lobby and the Sydney Anglican Diocese's Southern Cross Magazine, etc.
The leader of the ACL, Jim Wallace has produced a very soft supportive video (Click here) interview with Julia Gillard for the Churches.
The Southern Cross sought to allay fears of Anglicans by saying Julia Gillard, if elected, will only be one member of the Federal Cabinet. They reveal a great deal of ignorance about the real workings of politics.
The Prime Minister has tremendous influence over the decisions of Cabinet. Sometimes the PM announces the policy and then has the Cabinet member rubber stamp it. The PM also has an important influence over who becomes a member of Cabinet Minister. If a Cabinet Minister frequently opposes the PM, they do not last very long.
Once elected, Julia Gillard and her zealous followers will begin to implement their socialist anti-Christian agenda by degree, in a clever deceptive manner.
One day, Christians will wake up to accelerated harmful social and moral change and wonder how it all happened! (Click here).
4. The Alternative Prime Minister - Tony Abbott
 Australia now has a real choice on 21 August 2010 between a clever, beguiling, ruthless atheist and an open-faced, genuine Christian who believes in Almighty God and upholds our Christian values and ethics, who believes in Jesus Christ as his Saviour.
Australian voters, especially Christians, have the opportunity to vote for Tony Abbott's Coalition Team and so elect him as Prime Minister for the next three years.
Such a vote will give the ALP the opportunity to re-examine and reform itself in accordance with its early foundations.
5. The Pagan Green "Watermelon" Party
 The Green Party has nominated State MP Lee Rhiannon as its NSW Senate candidate for the Federal Election, as they hope to win the "Balance of Power" in the Senate in coalition with the ALP. She is well known as a former member of the Stalinist Socialist Party of Australia, one of the communist parties in competition with the Australian Communist Party.
Both these parties disbanded, with a political strategy for their members to join the Growing Green Party and then succeed in gaining organisational control, which they have now achieved.
When I was debating with the NSW State Greens leader, Ian Cohen, I said I believed in the Lord God Almighty who created the heavens and the earth. He said he believed in the earth mother goddess. I replied, "That is pagan". He agreed and said, "That is probably right".
 I therefore believe it is correct to call the Green Political Party "PAGAN". I also call it the "watermelon party" because it has a green veneer with a red inside, with a pink tinge, because it is also the political wing of the homosexual movement.

How can Christians vote for such a Pagan Green Political Party, which is pro same-sex marriage, pro x-rated pornography, pro-abortion, pro-euthanasia, etc.
6. The True Christian Alternative
 Sadly, the majority of Christians have continued to vote  for the major political parties or the Green Political Party. They have ignored the opportunity to vote for the committed Christian candidates of the Christian Democratic Party and elect a Christian, Bible-believing Government for New South Wales or for Australia.
Now when the choices are so black-and-white, Christians have the opportunity to vote (in box 'Z' above the line) for the Christian Democratic Party team, led by Pastor Paul Green who is currently the Mayor of Shoalhaven City. (Click here)
Christians also have the same choice for the House of Representatives to vote for the Christian Democratic candidates in the majority of seats and then vote  for the political party of their choice. However, we strongly recommend they vote for the Coalition for the reasons already stated, so that Tony Abbott becomes our next Prime Minister.

8. Family First Party Inc
The Family First Party in NSW had a setback in its Election preparations after its leader Gordon Moyes collapsed outside the NSW Parliament and spent three days in hospital. He has now recovered for which his family gives thanks, particularly for his heart pacemaker.
Some churches have asked about the Family First Party, which has clearly stated from its foundation that it is NOT a Christian party and is co-operating with Muslim leaders.
There has been controversy regarding Family First discussing the topic of preferences with the Australian Sex Party (Click here & here). This came after the CDP had already contacted Family First and undertaken its own investigations (Click here) that confirmed discussions did take place through Senator Fielding's Melbourne Office, even though they were not approved by the Family First Chairman in Adelaide, Bob Day.
Questions remain however, after Family First recently awarded the party's third preference (after itself and the Coalition) to the anti-Christian Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in several NSW electorates; a party that is pro-euthanasia, pro-drugs, pro-gambling, pro-homosexual marriage, pro-tobacco, etc.
9. Scripture Classes Versus Ethics Course
 The NSW ALP Government is still promoting the secular humanist ethics course in NSW schools, which does not mention God or the Bible and does not teach any moral values. It is basically a children's discussion group based on various role-play situations, with no God or Ten Commandments, etc.
As the Ethics Course was dishonestly promoted by the NSW Education Department and teachers, it dramatically undermined the Scripture Classes in the first ten trial Primary Schools - many Scripture Classes lost between 50-90% of their children.

10. Wanted - An Open Face Australia
 We are also distributing petitions which support my Private Members Bill to prohibit any face covering that conceals a person's identity in a public place. Please encourage all MPs and MLCs to vote for my Bill when the debate resumes on Thursday 23 September 2010 and urge them to allow a conscience vote.

11. Same-Sex Homosexual Child-Adoptions
 After Parliament did not support this policy, the Member for Bligh, Clover Moore, has now introduced this Bill as a Private Members Bill. Unfortunately Premier Kristina Keneally has said she will vote for it, which puts pressure on ALP members, even though it is a conscience vote.
