CDP Policies Explained
Foremost in importance, our policies have been developed with
Biblical principles as a basis. However, the CDP has also had many
years of parliamentary experience (in NSW parliament) and has
carefully set policies using this experience, as well using the
Bible as a basis.
Policies have been developed in several portfolio areas, and
below our policies are outlined, grouped in the following areas;

- Review the Family Law Act
- Legislate to support family and marriages.
- Retain parent rights up to age 18.
- Increase deduction for non working mothers
- Make home mortgage interest tax deductible
- Lift income tax threshold for families
- Assist personal responsibility not handouts
- Prohibit homosexual adoptions and marriages
- Improve quality of public education
- Remove anti Christian and immoral material from school
libraries and curriculums
- Promote Christian principles of character
- Emphasise literacy and numeracy
- Upgrade discipline in schools
- Courses on the effects of drugs and alcohol
- Family Impact Statement applied to all legislation to
reduce stress on families
- Make HIV/AIDS a notifiable disease
- Ban all forms of alcohol, gambling and tobacco
advertising
- Abolish tax handed abortions
- Active rehabilitation of the root causes in the
individual and his/her family
- Stronger penalties for pushers
- Swedish style holistic rehabilitation
- No 'safe' injecting rooms and no heroin trials
- Protect efficient Australian industry with limited
tariffs
- Provision of adequate resources to defend Australian
sovereignty and borders from external attack and internal
subversion
- Special incentives to accommodation providers and
builders
- No compulsory retirement
- Improve the deferred pension plan
- "Australia first" policy to all citizens
- In Ongoing reconciliation between all groups
- English classes free and mandatory
- Protect the environment with sustainable development
- Maintain land and water management as a high priority

- Stronger penalties for criminals
- Strengthen police powers and numbers with accountability
- Place street kids in a safe and caring rehabilitation

- Prohibit marijuana, cocaine, heroin etc.
- Immigration rate determined by availability of employment
- Priority given to legal asylum seekers
- Illegal and smuggled migrants returned immediately to
last port of call
