About Christian Democratic Party:

The Christian Democratic Party bases its political ethics on biblical principles.

It has had a presence in the NSW Parliament for 22 years, and its representatives have held a responsible balance-of-power on a number of occasions.

The CDP stands for a strong Australia based on honesty, integrity, loyalty and honour.

Our forebears fought and died for this great nation which is being undermined by high levels of drugs, depression, and suicide.

We need to give our young people honourable role models in family, sport, school, politics, and business. They need confidence building and a 'can do' attitude.

Violence and anarchy are spreading alarmingly across the world. We must arm ourselves as in war with hard work, good management, honesty, and sincerity.

Specifically, the CDP is committed to:

• A strong, united and self sufficient Australia
• A nation united under God
• Caring for all people
• A responsible community, not a government dependent one
• The environment is a valuable servant which should be cared for
• Support small business with management training
• Lean effective government
• A constitutionally sovereign and independent Australia

Through the responsible introduction of Biblically based values to the government of Australia, we believe that we can establish:

Dear Christian Friends,

We encourage you to consider the following proposals as we move on into a new and exciting millennium of witness through Christian ministry in the Parliaments of Australia by the Christian Democratic Party.

• That you become a Member or Supporter of CDP through activity in the Branch or through financial support.
  

• The Party needs witnesses in all areas of activity to motivate support at elections, without which the major parties will not consider the Christian vote as relevant or significant.
  

• There is a notion among some Christians that religion and politics should be separate and this has led to humanism taking over our parliaments. We need to regain a significant voice in legislative chambers. Your active support as well as your vote is essential.
  

• Christian leadership in our communities is sadly lacking and your support is needed for those who are called to stand up and be counted in Australian politics. You may be one of them.
